# K-Bay Boat Rentals > K-Bay Boat Rentals offers self-guided fishing and sightseeing boat rentals from Homer Harbor in Homer, Alaska. Three fully equipped aluminum boats — the McGray (24' Raider Coastal), Gondola (24' Bay Weld), and Sea Runner (22' Hewescraft) — are available May through August for day rentals on Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. No captain's license required. Orientation is provided the evening before each trip. K-Bay is a small, owner-operated business. Boats are permanently berthed at Homer Harbor — no towing or launching. Every vessel includes dual Garmin GPS chartplotters, three VHF radios with GPS-linked distress buttons, full USCG safety equipment, halibut and salmon fishing rods, and downriggers. Renters must attend a mandatory in-person orientation the evening before their trip.
