Adventure starts here
Every boat launches from a permanent slip at Homer Harbor — no towing, no ramp hassles. Show up, get oriented, and head out. Halibut grounds, salmon runs, sea otters, eagles, and open Alaskan sky are waiting.

K-Bay handles the outfitting, berthing, and briefing. You handle the adventure. Every rental includes a hands-on dockside orientation so you leave Homer Harbor confident, not guessing.

The evening before your trip, meet us at the harbor for a thorough safety and equipment walkthrough. You’ll leave knowing the boat inside and out — so the next morning, all you’re thinking about is where to drop the hook.
Halibut rods, salmon rods, downriggers, Garmin GPS chartplotters, VHF radios, life jackets, EPIRB beacon, anchor, binoculars, fish box, and more. Bring your tackle, bait, hooks, swivels and lunch — everything else is already on board.
Book a single day or string together a multi-day trip. Vessels operate May through August from Homer Harbor. $300/day deposit holds your reservation and applies to your balance.
“We’ve rented boats for years and K-Bay was hands-down the easiest experience. The dockside orientation the night before made us feel totally prepared. We limited out on halibut by noon. Best day on the water we’ve ever had.”
Dive into these expert tips to make your adventure unforgettable. Whether you're a novice or a pro, find all you need to enjoy the day.
